BMK Matching pair of QUAD C's !!
Hi folks,
Took a bit of time to get these completed and photographed but I hope it will be well worth it. It's great to work with James Behring. The blades are of my design, complimenting 2 ideas and fashioning them into 1!
Similar to Randall "Cattleman/Yachtsman". I started with the sheep's foot blade point. I added a little security "bump" in front of the reduced hilt for safety.
The next step was to slightly alter the cutting edge, giving a small amount of curvature to make it a much better skinner. Reduced hilts will be the norm as I don't want to sacrifice the ability for these bad boys to be easily drawn from those remarkable, basket-weaved-n-riveted pouch-style sheaths!
The end result...I could not be happier and could not possibly address enough "thanks" to a true Bladesmith (& proud to call my friend) James Behring! I hope they find a place on your collectors bench..."BUT"...also on your hip, next trip to the woods or water!
