Now....when I say 'available', I mean it's orderable but still not often seen. This one is just in from the shop and available to purchase...just by 'clickin''!
Although it's original intent was as a haberdasher's assistant, let me tell you what this 'Ol redneck Captain uses his for! I'm no Tailor, far from it. What I 'am' is a fisherman, guide, mate and Captain, sometimes, in the past, all at one time!
The Tailors knife, securely sheathed, will go in a saltwater tackle box lure compartment and is perfect for aiding in rigging Ballyhoo, a trolling bait for sailfish and the like. A small incision in the anus of those bait fish allows for my rigging 'needle' to pass through the fish, exiting out the mouth and makes the trolling wire (or nylon or mono) to install dead-straight, which, in turn makes the Ballyhoo 'swim' dead-straight when trolling!
Check out the photos and you will also see a safer way to hold and use this sum-bitch cause it's 'scary sharp'. Not a bad defense weapon as well!
