RMK #14 & Tri Set- Only one...Rare!
Hi folks,
This outstanding set of RMKs features one of only '2' Model #14-7 1/2 inch / CDTs ever made with a solid nickel silver double 'LUGGED' hilt! It is blade-etched to indicate it was, indeed, #2 and made in 1996! The stainless steel blade, fancy spacers, Killer desert ironwood and solid nickel silver butt cap make this ATTACK even nicer!
I had Greg Gutcher make this piggyback custom sheath a few years ago. Black leather upgrade and featuring copper rivets, it shows off this unique pair to the fullest!
I had Gene Beal install my Moroccan desert ironwood, complete with the matching copper mosaic pins, on this Triathlete. Man: Helluva' set! I hope you agree.
History (a little bit): The pair of #14's sat in Rhett Stidham's collection, until they were sold after Rhett's death. Yes: I know where the other one is! No: I don't have it!
I have not listed a price for this one-of-a-kind pair because I am 'on the road' and 'out the door' in the early AM to attend the AGCA (Alabama Gun Collectors Assoc.) gun & knife show this weekend. I am taking this set (outta' The Captain's STASH!) to the show with me and I do not want someone to hit a 'buy' button when I may, very well, be selling it in Birmingham!
